SolidGate
SolidGate is a payment platform built around subscriptions: its own card acquiring, plus an orchestration layer that routes a charge across other acquirers and payment methods. Connect it and funnel checkouts charge through your SolidGate account — settlement and the customer relationship stay yours — with routing and retries running underneath.

Why connect SolidGate
The argument, not the feature list.
You keep the merchant relationship
SolidGate is a processor you settle through, not a merchant of record. The charge is yours, the subscriber is your customer, and tax stays your responsibility — the same shape as Stripe, with routing on top.
Two providers in one connection
SolidGate does its own acquiring AND routes to other acquirers, so a declined attempt can be re-tried somewhere else without you holding a second contract first. That is the part a single-acquirer setup cannot do at all.
Built for recurring revenue
Subscriptions, retries and dunning are SolidGate’s core product rather than an add-on, which shows up in the place it matters: the renewal that would otherwise have failed quietly.
One-tap upsells, including a second subscription
The saved method is held on your side, so a post-purchase offer charges without re-entry — and unlike Paddle, SolidGate can stack a second concurrent subscription rather than only an upgrade or a one-time add-on.
How it works
What moves, and in which direction.
- 01Connect your SolidGate account from store settings.
- 02Funnel prices bind to SolidGate prices, so the checkout charges what your catalog declares.
- 03SolidGate’s inline payment form mounts in your page, or you hand off to its hosted payment page.
- 04Webhooks flow back for renewals, refunds and disputes, which is what keeps subscription state and revenue reporting honest.
- 05Purchases fan out to your other connected integrations as events.
What gets sent
SolidGate is where the charge happens rather than a destination we forward events to. Completed purchases fan out to your other connected integrations.
Worth knowing
Things that will otherwise surprise you later.
- SolidGate has no overlay of its own: the checkout either mounts in your page or hands off to a hosted payment page. There is no provider-painted popup in between.
