Google Ads
Connect Google Ads to pull daily campaign spend into your cohort reporting. Every campaign’s spend lands on the same axis as its revenue, so Google sits next to Meta and TikTok in one comparison rather than in a separate spreadsheet.

Google Ads
Daily campaign spend for cohort ROAS
Sends us ad spend
Why connect Google Ads
The argument, not the feature list.
One place to compare channels
Cohort return is only meaningful when spend and revenue come from the same table. Pulling Google spend in means a Google cohort and a Meta cohort are the same kind of number.
Currency handled properly
Spend is stored in its native currency and frozen to USD at the rate for that specific day. A rate move next month cannot silently restate last month’s ROAS.
Backfill, not just going forward
Connecting pulls history as well as new days, so cohorts that already matured have their spend attached rather than starting from a blank slate.
How it works
What moves, and in which direction.
- 01Connect the ad account over OAuth — no keys to copy or rotate.
- 02Daily campaign-level spend is pulled on a schedule and rolled up per campaign per day.
- 03Native spend is converted to USD at that day’s rate and stored alongside it; a day with no available rate is left unknown rather than guessed.
- 04Spend joins your revenue cohorts, so day-30 and day-90 return is computed per campaign.
What gets sent
Nothing leaves for Google Ads — this connection reads. Daily campaign spend comes in from your ad account and joins your revenue cohorts.
What you need
Have these on hand and setup takes a couple of minutes in the dashboard.

Worth knowing
Things that will otherwise surprise you later.
- This connection reads spend. It does not send conversions back to Google — for conversion reporting, Google Tag Manager is the route today.
